Michael G. Carter, Co-Founder
Michael G. Carter has been involved in the building and building materials industry since 1986. He began his career with Builder Marts of America (B.M.A.), a national distributor of building materials and lumber. At B.M.A. he was involved with marketing, purchasing, and sales primarily in their forest products division. Mr. Carter also served as general manager of their construction equipment subsidiary.
He is a native of Greenville, South Carolina, and a graduate of Wake Forest University, where he received his bachelor's degree from the School of Business and Accountancy. He is actively involved at First Presbyterian Church. He and his wife enjoy spending time with their family.
Robert C. Bailey, Co-Founder
Robert C. Bailey has been involved in the construction industry since 1987. He started his career with Bob Maxwell Builders Inc., a long-time Greenville home builder, as a job supervisor. In 1988, he started Bailey Properties Inc., a residential construction company building homes primarily in Pelham Falls and Stonehaven subdivisions. Mr. Bailey has lived in Greenville, South Carolina, since 1974 and is a graduate of Clemson University, where he received his bachelor's degree in financial management in 1985. He holds both general contractor and residential home builder's licenses.
Mr. Bailey also maintains a South Carolina broker's license and is a member of the Greenville Board of REALTORS®. Mr. Bailey is an active member of the First Presbyterian Church. He is married to the former Anne Maxwell of Greenville and has two sons.

At BMA, he was involved with marketing, purchasing, and sales—primarily in their forest products division. Mr. Carter was also the general manager of their construction equipment subsidiary.
He is a Greenville native and Wake Forest University graduate, where he received his Bachelor's from the School of Business and Accountancy. When he’s not building or remodeling, Mr. Carter is actively involved at the First Presbyterian Church. He and his wife enjoy spending time with their family.

Robert C. Bailey is also an essential part of our crew, having worked in construction since 1987. He started his career as a job supervisor with Bob Maxwell Builders Inc., an established Greenville home builder. In 1988, he founded Bailey Properties Inc., a residential construction company building homes in Pelham Falls and Stonehaven subdivisions. Mr. Bailey holds licenses as a general contractor, residential home builder, and a South Carolina broker. He is also a member of the Greenville Board of REALTOR®s.
Mr. Bailey has lived in Greenville since 1974 and received his Bachelor’s in financial management from Clemson University in 1985. Like Mr. Carter, he is an active member of the First Presbyterian Church. He is married to the former Anne Maxwell and has 2 sons.
